Preston Reels by Type
The Inertia, Inception, Invictus and Magnitude reels are built for general match fishing, stepping up in price and spec from the Inertia through to the Magnitude at the top end. For feeder work specifically, the Extremity SD, Extremity XTR, Intensity and Moster reels are built with the line lay and drag needed for casting and playing fish at range. The Extremity Finger Stall and Supera X Reel Case round out the collection as practical extras rather than reels themselves, worth adding if you're protecting a higher-end reel in transit.
Why Buy Preston Reels From Fisherman's Friend
Choosing between a match reel and a feeder reel (or between the Invictus and the Magnitude) isn't always obvious from a spec sheet alone, so our team can talk you through which suits how you actually fish before you spend the money. That's the same approach we've taken to everything we've stocked since opening as the local angling shop in Bearwood in the early 1980s.
